Using pencil and gouache, students will learn the craft of creating elegant curves and intricate motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. Students will create their own decorative patterns inspired by natural forms, organic lines, and stylized botanical elements to achieve rich, vibrant colors and fine detail. Guided instruction will cover the design and refinement of motifs, compositional techniques, and the application of traditional Art Nouveau aesthetics.
