Students will explore the traditional approach of painting night scenes in this class focused on Nocturne Painting. Over the course of three weeks, students will learn how to depict the subtle nuances of light, shadow, color harmony, and atmospheric effects present in evening and nighttime settings.

Anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of creating evocative, atmospheric works by studying the play of light and shadow after dark.
