Materials are provided for all of our classes + students are free to use the medium of their choice in this class.
This class guides students through the complete process of creating a finished illustration, from the first spark of an idea to the final execution. Students will learn how to ideate and develop concepts, shoot, gather, organize, and combine effective visual references, and plan compositions that tell a compelling story. Emphasis will be placed on strong design and effective use of color.
Who is this class for?
This class is ideal for students of all levels who are interested in storytelling through visual art. Beginners will gain confidence in building an illustration from the ground up, while more experienced artists will refine their process and learn new strategies to strengthen their work.
